Jeffrey is leading the GBC and brings 16 years of pharmaceutical drug discovery experience to the Geneva Biotech Center, with a successful track record in protein and small molecule drug design, protein structural biology, and enzymology. He is specialized in computer-assisted drug design and multiparametric compound optimization. Jeffrey has worked in both large pharmaceutical companies such as Glaxo-Wellcome and Merck Serono and biotechnology companies such as Serono. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, he obtained a PhD in Medical Biochemistry at the University of Geneva Medical Center, followed by postdoctoral fellowships at Brandeis University (Massachusetts, USA) and at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble.
